To improve embryo implantation during IVF, several strategies are used. Hormonal treatments, such as estrogen and progesterone, prepare the uterus lining for optimal implantation. Selecting high-quality embryos through techniques like blastocyst culture and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) increases success. Skilled embryo transfer, minimizing trauma and ensuring proper positioning, is crucial. In some cases, immune-modulating treatments, like low-dose aspirin or intralipids, may be used for women with recurrent implantation failure. Lifestyle factors, including maintaining a healthy weight, reducing stress, and avoiding smoking or alcohol, can also enhance implantation chances.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is also used to improve endometrial lining for better embryo implantation.

Treatments are also available to improve stem-cell amount in uterus to help with embryo implantation.

These methods optimize both the uterine environment and embryo quality. The strategies used for you will depend on your fertility history.
